Student Advancement Support Team
Dedicated to Student Growth and Leadership
The Student Advancement Support Team nurtures active learning, leadership, and whole-person development. We empower students to take initiative, embrace responsibility, and grow into confident leaders who contribute positively to the school and community.
1. Develop spirit of service and leadership; empower student leaders
Through well‑structured service and leadership programmes, students are able to showcase their strengths in different roles. Different service and leadership teams play vital roles in supporting major school events, outreach projects, and sustainability campaigns. These experiences provide students with hands-on opportunities to practice teamwork, discipline, and servant leadership.
By engaging in these meaningful responsibilities, students not only gain practical skills but also develop resilience, empathy, and a strong sense of purpose. Ultimately, they emerge as confident leaders who contribute positively to both the school community and society at large.
2. Build school spirit and sense of belongings
The Student Union and Chambers play a central role in fostering unity and pride across the school community. By organizing diverse activities, they create vibrant platforms for students to connect, collaborate, and celebrate together.
These student-led initiatives not only strengthen camaraderie but also cultivate shared memories that deepen the sense of belonging. Through active participation, students experience the joy of contributing to collective success, reinforcing school identity and building a supportive, spirited campus culture.
3. Recognise and celebrate student achievements
Students are consistently recognised for their dedication and excellence, with honours that highlight both individual accomplishments and the collective spirit of perseverance within our school community.
By celebrating these successes, we ensure every student feels appreciated and supported. Recognition encourages awardees, inspires peers, and reinforces a culture where effort, resilience, and contribution are valued. Ultimately, these celebrations strengthen confidence and motivate students to continue striving for excellence in school and beyond.
4. Student welfare
Welfare initiatives such as canteen services, vaccination programmes, and health campaigns promote well-being and healthy lifestyles. Launched in 2025, the Students’ Service Centre (SSC) further supports peers through Souvenirs Exhibition Booth, distribution of SU Hoodies, and ticket management, cultivating empathy and care.
