Christianity Development

The Christianity Development Team, together with City One Baptist Church (COBC), cultivates a nurturing environment rooted in Christian values. The team aims to foster spiritual growth, moral integrity, and a sense of purpose among students across all grade levels. By integrating Biblical teachings into daily school life, the team focuses on developing holistic individuals who exhibit love, faith, and service. Through diverse pastoral initiatives, collaborative fellowships, and community outreach, the team supports students, teachers, and parents in building a Christ-centered school community.

Hall Assemblies

Hall Assemblies serve as a critical whole-school gathering platform to inspire the students through large-scale worship and messaging. Teachers and students are regularly invited to deliver engaging sermons and real-life faith testimonies. The praise sessions encourage active participation and vocal expression of faith.

Zoom Sharing

Zoom Sharing delivers timely Biblical messages and encouraging spiritual stories directly from teachers and student leaders to the entire school community online. These virtual gatherings serve as an accessible, unified space where speakers share personal reflections, scripture, and practical life applications. This platform not only strengthens worship across all grade levels but also empowers student leaders to develop their communication skills while actively guiding their peers in spiritual growth.

Bible OLEs

Bible OLEs engage students with interactive lessons that bring Biblical narratives and core Christian values to life. These specialised sessions move beyond traditional rote learning to cultivate empathy, integrity, and social responsibility. Students reflect on scriptural principles through discussions, games, crafts, hymns and videos. This experiential curriculum empowers learners to apply timeless spiritual wisdom to their contemporary personal lives.

Christmas Celebration

The annual Christmas Celebration serves as a joyful, school-wide proclamation of the birth of Jesus Christ. The event features festive worship services, choral performances, and dramas that illustrate the message of hope and peace. Students, parents and teachers join hands to share seasonal blessings by making Christmas crafts and sharing gifts. These activities reinforce the true meaning of Christmas by focusing on God's love and the spirit of generosity.

Easter Celebration

The yearly Easter Celebration focuses the school community on the core message of redemption, grace, and Christ's resurrection. Special assemblies utilise solemn reflections, worship music, and testimonial sharing to help students understand the profound depth of sacrifice and hope. The team collaborates with COBC and parents to organise interactive game booths and hymn stations. These events encourage students to experience personal renewal and appreciate the gift of spiritual salvation.

Campus Decoration

Campus decoration transforms the physical school environment into an inspiring visual testament to faith and scripture. The team strategically places vibrant posters, student-designed faith artwork, and Biblical motivational quotes throughout corridors and communal spaces. Seasonal installations serve as visual reminders of the festivities. This intentional design fosters a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that silently communicates God’s truth to everyone on campus.

Prayer Corner

The Prayer Corner provides a dedicated, tranquil sanctuary for students and staff seeking spiritual reflection and emotional solace. This space invites individuals to pause amidst busy school days. Student leaders and teachers offer prayer support and active listening during recess. This initiative embeds dependency on God into the school culture.

Parent Bible Sharing

Parent Bible Sharing strengthens the vital connection between home and school by creating a unique platform for parents to share Biblical messages, personal testimonies, and spiritual insights directly with students. During these meaningful sessions, parents step into the role of spiritual mentors, delivering age-appropriate lessons that connect scriptural truths with real-life experiences. This direct interaction allows students to see active faith modelled by the adults in their community, reinforcing the Biblical values taught in the classroom.

Gospel Camp

Gospel Camp offers an immersive retreat experience designed to deepen students' personal relationship with God. Away from routine academic pressure, participants engage in intensive scripture workshops, team-building outdoor challenges, and uplifting worship. Small group sessions allow students to process deeper spiritual questions with mature mentors. The camp acts as a vital catalyst for personal faith commitments and lifelong Christian friendships.

Vacation Bible Class

Vacation Bible Class fills school holiday periods with vibrant, themed gospel programmes tailored specifically for young children. The curriculum blends energetic action songs, arts and crafts, and structured Bible storytelling games into an exciting week of learning. Senior student volunteers serve as counsellors, gaining valuable Christian leadership experience in the process. This initiative provides safe, constructive, and spiritually enriching childcare that serves working school families.

Christian Disciples

The Christian Disciples group identifies and trains dedicated student leaders to become active spiritual ambassadors on campus. Members undergo structured Biblical discipleship training, peer counselling workshops, and servant leadership mentoring. These student leaders take charge of organising evangelical events. The programme fosters accountability and equips youth to confidently live out and share their faith.

Boys’ Brigade

The Boys’ Brigade integrates Christian education with structured uniform group discipline, physical training, and badge achievements. Regular parades emphasise the core values of reverence, discipline, self-control, and Christian character. Members participate in drill exercises, community service projects, and outdoor expeditions to build resilience and teamwork. By anchoring physical and leadership development in Christian habits, The Boys’ Brigade develops responsible, faithful citizens.
