Other Learning Experiences

OLE is a designed part of growing up at A-School.

We use Other Learning Experiences to grow the whole child — curiosity, craft, character, and the habit of serving others — alongside academic lessons. Through a rich range of community service, aesthetic and physical development, and moral and civic education, students build leadership, teamwork and creativity, explore their interests, and grow in character in a supportive environment.

In-timetable OLE develops multiple intelligences. Students choose courses from at least three domains in the school year. Students who engage well may be invited into deeper training.

School teams are how we help a spark become a craft, and a craft becomes something shared.

Team training runs Monday to Saturday. It is a privilege and a joyful experience to have closer coaching, stronger friendships, and the honour of representing A-School.
