At 7:00 am, what are most students doing? Are they commuting on the way to school, enjoying breakfast, or still asleep in bed?
For the dedicated members of our Prefect Team, the answer is none of the above. Long before the first lesson begins, they are already on campus, helping to ensure that another school day starts smoothly. Our prefects play an important role in fostering an organised and caring school community.
Recently, we spoke with several of our student leaders to learn more about their experiences as prefects:
🔹 Grade 11 Allison Pang
🔹 Grade 11 Tang Ho Yui
🔹 Grade 10 Marcus Tsui
🔹 Grade 8 Jay Liu
They shared a common belief: serving as a prefect is more than carrying out responsibilities. It is an opportunity to develop leadership skills while contributing meaningfully to the school community.
We also talked to Grade 9 Lam Tsz Ki, who arrived at school shortly after 7:00 a.m. to prepare for her morning duties. When asked what she finds most meaningful about being a prefect, Tsz Ki shared that guiding younger students and helping them understand their responsibilities gives her a genuine sense of fulfilment. Seeing other students grow and develop over time reminds her that even small acts of service can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
👏 We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all members of the Prefect Team for their dedication
